Agent X was used to getting out of bed early in the morning. Every day, he would wake up before dawn, his mind already thinking of the mission details. His current task: to find a stolen artifact known as the Eternal Flame, a source of limitless fuel. This wasn’t just any artifact; it was the basis of the city’s energy, and without it, the entire empire would be in darkness.
He managed to get in touch with his former contact, a shadowy figure named “The Collector.” The Collector would always hesitate before giving information, but a large sum of money usually did wonders. “Either you tell me where it is, or you lose your entire fortune,” Agent X stated, his voice firm. The Collector, under pressure, revealed the Flame was hidden in an old, crumbling factory.
Agent X broke into the factory. He grabbed a flashlight; the power was already off. He would carefully move through the dark. He knew the thieves would be guarding it heavily. By midnight, he will have found the Flame, and by morning, he will have restored power to the city. A sudden flash of light from an upper window confirmed his suspicions. Someone was there. He smiled. This was going to be an interesting night.
