A2 English Reading – Short Story & Grammar Quiz
Leo is a teacher at an elementary school. He lost his car key yesterday. The key was new. He didn’t know where it was, did he? He had checked his bag many times. Something important was missing.
First, he looked in the classroom. Everything was tidy. The classroom is cleaned every evening. He asked his friend, “Have you seen anything?” His friend shook his head. “No, I haven’t seen anything,” he replied.
Next, Leo went to the school office. He talked to Mrs. Green. “My pen was lost yesterday,” he explained. “We expect to find it,” she said kindly. “Somebody will check the cameras.”
Later, somebody found the key. It was lying on the floor near the big window of the teacher’s room. The window was left open by accident and the key was hidden behind it. Leo was very happy. His key was found! He could finally drive his car again!
