We played very well, but finally, we lost the game. I started walking home, thinking of Rosie. My best friend didn’t come to the party yesterday, and that was strange. While I was sleeping that night, I dreamed of Rosie.
The next day, I decided to go to her house. While I was walking on the street, I found a ring! Finally, I arrived at her house and rang the bell. Rosie opened the door. “Hey, how are you? Why didn’t you come to the party yesterday?” I asked.
“I lost a very expensive ring my grandma gave me. That’s why my dad didn’t let me come to the party,” she said. “Is this what you’re looking for?” I asked, holding out the ring. When she saw the ring, she got so happy that she hugged me!
