“Hurry up, Alex! It’s time for your interview. The team is waiting,” says Mom. Alex feels nervous but excited. He is meeting a famous explorer with his team who travels the world. “What time is it?” Alex asks, looking at the clock. “It’s almost noon. Don’t miss it,” Mom answers.
Alex gets ready quickly. He brushes his teeth and puts on his favorite shirt. “Good job,” Mom says with a smile. At the interview, Alex listens to the explorer’s special stories. He learns about America, Japan, Russia and many other places. The explorer says, “You can try it, too. Follow your dreams.” “I’ll write back to you soon about my new adventures,” he promises.
On the way home, Alex thinks, “I want to travel and learn about new places. The world is so beautiful!”
