Story 10 – A1 – Tim’s Missing Sock

Tim wakes up and dresses. He wears his shirt, black pants, but where’s his sock? He looks under the bed. Whiskers, his cat, plays with a toy mouse, not his sock.

In the kitchen, Mom drinks coffee. “Sock?” she asks. Looks in the laundry basket. Tim finds his dad’s shirt, sister’s dress, brother’s pants, but no sock.

Then, he remembers! The bathroom! There it is! Max, his dog, has it in his mouth. “My sock, Max!” Tim laughs. Tim puts his sock on and he’s ready. His family laughs with him. What a funny morning this is!
